For years, pastors in churches have encouraged many young church goers not to listen to “secular music” (which, in their minds, was of the devil) but instead, to listen to “Christian” or “gospel music”. And today, there are many young Christian music groups, to be sure. But just how truly “Christian” are they? Lets examine the evidence.

The following article in the Toronto Sun is about As I Lay Dying frontman, Tim Lambesis.

http://www.torontosun.com/2014/06/23/imprisoned-as-i-lay-dying-frontman-tim-lambesis-admits-to-lying-about-faith-to-sell-records

Sadly, Mr. Lambesis is not an outlier for there are MANY groups in the “Christian music bizz” that aren’t actually Christian but only PRETEND to be to sell records/etc.

Check out the following music video from one of the world’s most-renowned “Christian bands” P.O.D. — Watch real closely and you will see group members and audience members doing the devil sign. Seriously.

1). boy doing devil sign at 1:09
2). demon screeches at 3:14 and beyond
3). 2:08-2:09 yet ANOTHER devil sign

And last but not least is a link to one of Carrie Underwood’s most recent music videos. (For those of you who don’t know Carrie Underwood, she’s the one renowned for singing “Before He Cheats” and “Jesus Take The Wheel). Carrie Underwood, by many, is considered to be the “Christian darling of country music”. However, there’s many dark & Satanic themes in her music videos.

Right off the bat, if you listen without the sound on, you will notice SEVERAL Satanic themes in the video. You will see the color black (which represents death/decaying/dying), bright red painted fingernails (which represent Satan), a cemetery (which also represents death/decay/dying), black veils (which represent Satan and darkness) and a song that’s apparently about advocating MURDER!

In her “Jesus Take The Wheel” music video, you can ALSO notice several Satanic themes (if you view the video without the sound on). You will notice that she’s in a rich mansion, is looking into MIRRORS (a well-known Occultic symbol), does a very subtle devil sign at 1:16, a bright red chair and golden lamp (representing Satan and Satan’s throne), that she’s possessed at 1:25, that she’s actually SITTING in the red chair at 1:36 (meaning, her subservience to Satan), that she’s “smirking” at the viewer as IF to say “ha ha ha ha, you don’t know the difference!” at 1:40, that she gives a “smirk” at 1:41, etc. etc.

And in the following video, you can ALSO clearly see many Satanic themes all throughout. There’s FIRE onstage (signifying the FLAMES OF HELL), her & Miranda Lambert are all dolled up and dressed like hookers, not to mention the gyrating of their bodies and hips is ANYTHING **BUT** CHRISTIAN!

And the actual music video rendition of the song fares no better, especially at 2:08 where Carrie Underwood’s not only dressed like a hooker but is gyrating her hips and body around like one!

Sadly, these two musical groups are just one of SEVERAL “Christian bands” who aren’t actually Christian but that only pretend to be in order to sell records.

But that goes back to a previous point I was trying to make. When we start to think another fellow human being, music group, movie, videogame etc. is SO GREAT, we begin to lose our focus on Jesus Christ & his true gospel of Salvation and that’s when we unwittingly open ourselves up to be lied to and deceived by demon spirits (demon spirits that are EVER so apparent in today’s “Christian music”).

But in fact, I’ve got an assignment for all you readers here on WordPress (yes, an actual assignment! lol). When you have some time set aside, flip through all the radio stations on your tuner dial. ALL OF THEM. And then go back and stop at the “Christian radio station” (if you have one). Notice anything?

If you didn’t know it was the “Christian radio station”, would you have thought it was a “popular hits” or “secular station”? Be honest with yourself. Because more than likely, you will notice NO DIFFERENCE between the Christian station and the “secular stations”. And the reason being is that “Christian music” is no longer “Christian music” but is rather a DIVERSION in order to deceive people into thinking that they’re listening to actual Christian music rather than just REPACKAGED SECULAR MUSIC with the name “Christian” stamped on it. God help us all!

U.2. is one of the most popular 80’s bands. Their hit song “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for” was a song that they PURPOSELY used to DECEIVE CHRISTIANS! Sadly, many Christians are unbeknown of this fact! In fact, most recently, Bono was even featured on a CHRISTIAN RADIO PROGRAM……..yes, CHRISTIAN RADIO PROGRAM……..

Pastor JD Farag gives an EXCELLENT sermon on the topic:

Start the video at 5:02 and go from there

At 10:48, he talks about the important point about how we can NOT serve two masters!

Christian Berdahl ALSO gives an EXCELLENT presentation on the subject, entitled “The Distraction Dilemna”

But if you really want to get down to the “nitty gritty” of things, most of ALL pre-recorded music is of the Devil, quite technically. Why? Because none of it has the “true heart” of God in it. When King David during the times of the Old Testament wrote the Psalms (which were also MUSICAL, by the way, and alot of people tend to forget that), he wrote them with his whole mind, heart, body and SOUL and it SHOWED!

However, when one hears a “pre-recorded” song on a Christian radio station today, the songs are just way too “convoluted” for one to truly pay attention to. It has too much backbeat, breakbeat, syncopation, etc. In fact, nearly all of them got what I call the “clap beat” or “Babylonian drumming pattern” in the background and I find that very annoying and distracting. Personally, I’ve ALWAYS hated the “clap beat” background in music, even as a small child.

In fact, I’ve always hated the concept of “clapping”, in and of itself even, but never really knew why…….I could never quite put my finger on it…….until I discovered most recently that the ancient Romans used to “clap” during ancient performances……in other words, “clapping” is actually of Pagan origin……so to me, that actually makes sense to me, now……who ever called that “music”, anyway? With a constant “clappy” background beat? It should instead be verbal words that say “headache, headache, headache”, haha! Does anyone ELSE out there hate the “clap beat” too, or is it just me?

Another interesting thing that alot of people don’t know (and wouldn’t know if they haven’t watched Christian Berdahl’s music seminar program entitled The Distraction Dilemma) is that a good majority of today’s music is actually based on REPETITIVE African tribal voodoo beats.

Now, before you get up in arms and call me crazy, consider the following 2 songs which demonstrate this: “What’s My Name?” by the Rolling Stones and “If you want it, come get it” by Selena Gomez.

The voodoo beats are meant to put the listener into a TRANCE. Have you ever wondered why all songs have a “long introduction” before the lyrics come about and also about WHY it is that certain songs get stuck in your head and start playing in your head OVER AND OVER AGAIN? And also why, when you try to think of ANOTHER song to try to get that song to get out of your head, THAT SONG then becomes stuck in your head and so on and so forth?

Also: WHY would music need to put you, the listener, into a TRANCE if it was all spiritually good? Think about that one for awhile……….Music (especially the kind of music in today’s world) is SPIRITUALLY DEMONIC, FOLKS! And music’s attack on the soul by Satan is ONLY THE BEGINNING! Because remember: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” – Ephesians 6:12
