As a preacher/teacher of God’s Written Word (The Bible), it’s very, very hard for me to admit when I am wrong or when I’ve made a mistake as it pertains TO God’s Written Word. However, it is with much humbled grief that I ask for the readers’ forgiveness (as well as the Lord Jesus’s forgiveness) for my mistake.

Note: In my postings entitled: “Satan’s Bride: The Roman Catholic Church”, I previously thought (like many Protestant-leaning souls out there) that the Apocrypha was UNBIBLICAL and ADDED *CATHOLIC DOCTRINE*. However, it has most recently come to my attention that that is NOT the case. I have since replaced the graphic showing the Apocrypha on that particular page/post to a graphic showing the “Catheism” (which clearly is NOT biblical, since we’re not supposed to “WAIT” to get Salvation in Christ!!!!)

But anyways, on with the story……So I was most recently doing some research on how they decided what all books of the bible to put in or not put in, when I came across a piece of information which said that the Apocrypha WAS INCLUDED in the ORIGINAL 1611 KJV BIBLE! [WOW! THAT JUST COMPLETELY BLEW ME AWAY!]

Not to mention that the Apocrypha was ALSO included among several fragments found in the DEAD SEA SCROLLS! (I never knew that, either!) And AS I began to dig further and further, it seems like the general consensus was that these books were REMOVED from the KJV bible around the time of the 1800’s! That really blew my mind as well! Because anyone that knows American spiritual history also knows that that’s around the same time that “Christmas” very first started being observed in America! (NOTICE THE CONNECTION?)

But yet, here’s where things get sort’ve confusing…….We know from history that the Catholic Church “created Christmas out of THIN AIR” (based on the former Pagan holiday, Saturnalia and also on the deeds of the “Catholic bishop” named “Nicolaus”). However, most Catholic Churches have KEPT the Apocrypha in their bibles, minus a few books. However, most Protestants have DONE AWAY WITH the Apocrypha and have written it off as “Catholic, ONLY!” (This is strange, to say the least….?) 

However, one thing is CERTAIN: early Christians must’ve considered these books VERY IMPORTANT, in order to include them in the bible! So WHY then were they REMOVED from the bible? Why, indeed!? Some think there’s a “conspiracy” of sorts, that these books contained “sacred information” that the inner “Jewish world” didn’t want outsiders to know! But it must go much deeper than that……..?

But now there’s this whole big controversy about WHAT books should be included in the Apocrypha and RATHER or not the Apocrypha should be considered “inspired scripture” or not. That immediately caught my attention. Because if something is gonna have THAT MUCH against it/opposed to it, there must be something TO it, right? (Or so my “spiritual mind” says to myself, anyways……)

In fact, did you know that there’s 1-2 movies out there with the NAME “Apocrypha” that DON’T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE BIBLICAL APOCRYPHA **AT ALL?** That just proves my point of how SATAN DECEIVES! Because NOW, when MOST people hear the word “Apocrypha”, they won’t even likely think of things from the bible or of THE bible but will instead be thinking about a “vampire” movie, etc. of the same name! OUCH! 

But anyways, many have been asking this very question FOR YEARS: “So how are we to know what happened during the times between the Old and New Testament? Why such the big gap in human history?“ Well, quite frankly, there IS a complete “history” of the time between the Old and New Testaments and that IS the events talked about in the Apocrypha!

Therefore, the WHOLE WRITTEN TRUTH of God has been with us ALL ALONG, it’s just that most people had NO IDEA, until now. But several people in these last days are just now starting to WAKE UP to that fact (as evidenced by the sheer NUMBER of Amazon reviews of KJV WITH APOCRYPHA bibles and so, as a born-again believer, that makes me really, really hopeful!) 

Anyhow, it was only after much “research” that I discovered that these books were not “Catholic doctrine” in any way, shape or form but were rather, EARLY CHURCH DOCTRINE! That really gets me and makes me take pause. Because obviously the EARLY CHRISTIANS/MESSIANIC JEWS would NOT have included it among their “doctrines” if it weren’t important, right?

So I did a google search. I thought: “if these books were purposely removed from the bible, I’ve GOT to find out WHY, specifically, and find out WHAT on God’s green Earth was so threatening about them, to begin with!” By the way, did you know that Apocrypha means HIDDEN? What do THEY (the ones that REMOVED the Apocrypha) have to HIDE? It certainly begs of question, here!  

Well, I’ve read portions of the Apocrypha books so far. And I can tell ya right now that they only seem to CONFIRM the bible (Old to New Testament), CONFIRM Jesus Christ’s divinity/Messiahship, and EXPOUND on the bible! “Wow”, I thought to myself, “could THAT maybe be why the *Rabbinical/Orthodox* Jews wanted to DO AWAY with the Apocrypha? Because they didn’t like all the passages pointing to Jesus as their Messiah?”

Well, to answer that question (and more), I went on over to Amazon and purchased the following (because like many others out there who are just now discovering the complete 100% written truth of God, I WANT and NEED to be able to read God’s COMPLETE Written Truth, from COVER TO COVER):

{Note: Now, there’s some MORE books that are mentioned in either the Old or New Testament that are NOT included on this list here from Derek A. Shaver’s KJV with Apocrypha (for whatever reason?) and one of them is “The Book of Jasher”, etc. And in fact, I’ve ALWAYS and forever wondered WHY the bible (especially the Old Testament) talks about OTHER books (such AS “The Book of Jasher”) that are NOT included in today’s Protestant KJV bible!

Why even mention those books in the OTHER testament books if they had no meaning or value, right? But whatever the reason, I’ve decided to read the book of Jasher, etc. separately, in order to get a true feel for why the book of Jasher, etc. was mentioned in the {Old Testament?} in the first place!

And not to further confuse any of ya’ll, but there’s ALSO something called THE PSEUDEPIGRAPHA or what some call “false writings” since they were SO-CALLED written by others than whom the “writings” were originally attributed to or something like that. But as I READ some of these Pseudepigrapha writings (especially, the book of Enoch 1 and the 1st and 2nd book of Adam and Eve), I can’t help but wonder if some of these books were ALSO written by Moses and possibly even “inspired” since, just like the Apocrypha, they seem to be not only CONFIRMING the bible (Old and New Testaments) but also EXPOUNDING on it! [Although I don’t agree with ALL of the “lost scriptures”. For example, I DO NOT agree with any of the Gnostic Gospels such as the Gospel of Thomas, Mary or Judas!] 

Plus, in an odd sense, if any of those writings WERE inspired by God TO Moses, then it makes PERFECT SENSE that the Devil, the enemy of mankind, would try to do WHATEVER he could to try to discredit and disqualify them and then change what we already HAVE as our “bible”, so that people were further and further DECEIVED and taken AWAY from the COMPLETE truth of the Everlasting God of Heaven, Earth and the Universe!

It’s kind’ve funny though how the COMPLETE written truth of God is in many ways, like a sacred “scavenger hunt”. For you have to search for God’s written truth through MANY, MANY different layers, like peeling back an onion of sorts. In other words, you have to do some SERIOUS DIGGING to get to the COMPLETE PEARL of God’s COMPLETE written truth.

I’m seriously spiritually lamenting (now that I’m “in the know”) about just how many people have NO IDEA that 14-15 extra books were EXCLUDED from the bible in the 1800s! Probably MILLIONS upon MILLONS….People just take their “Protestant KJV” for granted, not EVER thinking (as a whole) that maybe there’s more to it than JUST the Old and New Testaments. Because OFCOURSE Almighty God would want us to know the COMPLETE HISTORY from beginning to end, and NOT just a “part” of it, right?

Although I have to admit, I’m STILL in complete and utter shock over this! As I read through my KJV + Apocrypha bible by Derek A. Shaver, I pray that it will enlighten my heart and my SOUL to God’s Written Word like NEVER BEFORE and that I will never, EVER stray from Jesus’s COMPLETE written word for ALL ETERNITY! I feel SO lucky and BLESSED beyond belief that I have FINALLY come to know THE TRUTH about the Apocrypha! And now, you, my beloved readers, know the truth as well! And the truth shall set you free! 😉

P.S.: The REASON I recommend the Derek A. Shaver version is because it has original Gothic headings and subheadings and updated spelling WITHOUT changing the “concept” of the words from the original 1611 KJV. And even though MUCH DEBATE still rages about rather or not these 14-15 books are “inspired” or not, they’re differently worth a read, rather as PART of the bible or as a separate “reference section”. Heck, even Martin Luther HIMSELF said they were “beneficial reading”.
