Is The Bible In YOUR Diet?

In a previous post entitled:  “Is Jesus in YOUR Diet?”, I talked about the importance of maintaining a healthy spiritual AND physical diet (while emphasizing the importance of a healthy physical diet). In THIS post, I’m gonna discuss the importance of maintaining a healthy SPIRITUAL diet!

“This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world” – John 6:50-51

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” – Matthew 4:4

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread [spiritual bread of Jesus Christ] shall live for ever” – John 6:57-58

“And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ” – 1 Corinthians 10: 2-4

It’s very important that we spend time reading the WRITTEN Word of God (the bible!) For it is our spiritual nourishment! And without “time in the written word”, our spiritual walk with Christ begins to SUFFER! Why? Because we tend to think during those times & moments: “I don’t NEED to read the bible, I ALREADY know what’s in there!!!!!” and/or “What’s the POINT of reading the bible, I ALREADY know what the BASIC tenets of the faith are, so need I to know ANY MORE?” (OUCH!)

For some, it can be kind’ve depressing to read about all the wars & battles in the Old Testament (“why so many deaths?”) and/or to read about what happened to Jesus during his consequent “arrest”, “trial” and “execution”. However, it’s important for us these days to READ about all those things and REMEMBER them and remember how GOOD (loving but firm) God is!

The Israelites winning the Old Testament battles were precursors to YOU AND ME (Christians/Messianic Jews/The Lord’s people) winning spiritual battles TODAY against the enemy! And all that stuff that happened to Jesus in the New Testament was PROPHESIED in the Old Testament!

And all those things HAD to happen, in order for Jesus to SHOW US that he is who HE says HE is, and that the written word – the bible – is itself what IT says IT is – the 100% complete written testimony of the Word of God [The Word of God ofcourse being Jesus Christ Almighty/HIMSELF!]

If your bible’s been collecting dust on the bookshelf, NOW’S the time to take it back out, dust it off & began re-reading it! If you’re not sure where to start, the Gospel of John is a good place or the Book of Acts. And if you prefer the Old Testament over the New, you can always start with Genesis, from the VERY beginning! And if you live in a country where bibles are forbidden or hard to come by, you can always PRAY that Jesus will show you dreams & visions about what the bible talks about!

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened” – Matthew 7: 7-8

I’m gonna tell you guys my own personal experience about what happened to me during all the times in my life when I did NOT read the bible every single day and the long-lasting effects it had on me.

One of the VERY first things I’ve noticed is that it starts out SO SMALL. I’d go to read one or two chapters and would suddenly feel very, very sleepy and couldn’t keep my eyes open. And then, the next day, I’d try to re-read that same passage and would AGAIN start to feel really, really sleepy. “What is the DEAL?”, I thought. “This is much too much to be coincidence! WHAT is going on, here?”

And I kept feeling this IMMENSE sense of guilt; thinking that the problem was ME! In other words, I kept internalizing it, thinking it must be MY fault if “I” kept feeling really, really sleepy while picking up the bible and reading it. And yet, when was the last time I had felt really, really sleepy while reading one of my favorite novels or the like? (Busted!)

So then, I went through this mental checklist of sorts: Am I bored by what I read? No. Did I get enough sleep last night? Probably not. Am I trying to read TOO MUCH of the bible at a time? Maybe”. And yet, NONE of those answers seemed to answer my question 100% satisfactorily as to WHY it kept happening…….

I felt tired, depressed, lethargic, moody. I became more “worldly”, and more concerned with the latest movies, books and TV shows, rather that on what Jesus and scripture said. Ah yes, Jesus……..the only begotten Son of God who died on the cross for forgiveness of mankind’s sins?

The one who saved me during my N.D.E. around 23 months or age or so and beyond? Sadly, he seemed to be the furthest thing from my mind as I dwelved into the “haven’t read the bible in a quite a long time” club! And then there was the “guilt factor”: “well, I haven’t read the bible in so long, how could Jesus ever forgive me?”

But yet, that’s when I realized something: when we don’t feel like reading the bible (for WHATEVER REASON), there is some HIGH SPIRITUAL WARFARE going on by Satan and his demons. But yet, Satan is good at getting us to turn it AGAINST OURSELVES by BLAMING OURSELVES for it, INSTEAD of blaming HIM/his demons for it, where all the blame should rightfully be! For if HE and his demons hadn’t first tempted us AWAY from reading the bible, then we would’ve (theoretically) been able to actually READ the bible without any problems!

Another reason we know it’s HIGH SPIRITUAL WARFARE is because of modern-day news stories like THIS

1). School told they can’t have “bible class”:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/ct-public-school-bible-class-court-20170423-story.html

2). Teacher says student can’t read bible during “free reading time”:

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/05/05/teacher-tells-student-cant-read-bible-in-my-classroom.html

3). Group wants bible removed from POW/MIA Display, despite YEARS of tradition:

https://www.military.com/daily-news/2018/04/07/advocacy-group-pushes-remove-bible-pow-mia-display.html

And folks, that’s just a small sample. There’s many, many stories about “removing bibles” or “bible classes” that I don’t have time to get into, right now. Therefore folks, it stands to reason: if there’s such STRONG drive to REMOVE BIBLES from school and public military displays, what makes anyone think that there’s also not a spiritual war happening in your VERY HEART over the bible and its precious contents?

When’s the last time you read ANY part of your bible? Be honest with yourself. It’s probably been awhile, hasn’t it? (And if you live in a country where a bible is not freely available, my heart goes out to you! I pray in the name of Jesus that you will somehow get access to the holy scriptures somehow!) And for those of you who LIVE in a country where a bible is freely available, WHAT ARE  YOU WAITING FOR?

Folks, mark my words, the bible will someday be officially “outlawed”. There’ll likely come a time in Westernized nations where owning a bible is ILLEGAL……Yup, that’s right. ILLEGAL! (Especially in the New World/One World Gov’t system they’re trying so hard to set up right now!)

So READ your bibles front to back from Genesis to Revelation while you still can! Because you NEVER, EVER know when that “right” will be taken away from you! I’m DEAD SERIOUS on this, folks! Furthermore, if you KNOW what’s in the scriptures and what isn’t, you’re FAR less likely to be DECEIVED by Satan and his “workers” (both demonic and human).

Many Christians today have time for Facebook, Twitter, Netflix, going to the movies, dinner with friends, Redbox movies, sports games, reading their favorite novels, etc., but yet, they DON’T seem to have the time to read the bible! They tell themselves that it’s too laborious, that it’s too much work, that they just don’t have the time to!” Well folks, what if Jesus were to be standing before one of those folks (myself included) and he told them someday that while he’d “like” to let them into “New Jerusalem”, he “just didn’t have the time to?” OUCH!

In order for Jesus Christ to someday confess our name before the Heavenly Father and the angels, we must KNOW him personally; we must have a spiritual relationship with him. And the very BEGINNING of the foundation of that relationship comes by FAITH.

And according to Romans 10:17 in the New Testament: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God“. In other words, we must READ (& FULLY ABSORB) the written word of God in order to HEAR IT IN OUR MINDS, HEARTS & SPIRITS!

Sure, we could ALWAYS theoretically have faith in Jesus due to Daniel’s 3 Friends in the Lions Den or Moses parting the Red Sea, etc. But there’s just something about READING about it in print that ENHANCES the experience, as IF we were really there at the time of the great happenings of the bible!

Seeing it in movie form or listening to it on audio-book actually DETRACTS from the experience in a way since those two platforms make it an unemotional, INDIRECT experience. But reading it OURSELVES? That MAKES it a personal, emotional and DIRECT experience, almost as if reading somebody’s personal diary or autobiography of all the events that took place! Now think about this for moment: What makes reading someone’s diary or autobiography more PERSONAL to you? If someone ELSE reads it to you or IF you read it YOURSELF? Think about it, folks!

Many Christians today based their “bible theology” on FEELINGS & EMOTIONS – what they FEEL to be true or SHOULD be true – other than what’s FACT! And that’s truly sad! For if these folks would read their bibles more often, they’d come to realize just how WRONG they are/were in their “assumptions!”

Imagine if YOU wrote YOUR own autobiography, only to have one your “proclaimed fans” come forth later and say: “No, this is NOT what they mean here……they in fact mean THIS” as IF that person knew you and/or knew your “thoughts”, personally! Wouldn’t you be so offended by that? I know “I” would!!!!!! So it is with God and his holy, written word. It’s “written in stone”, it doesn’t NEED to be interpreted or re-interpreted, as it were. Let the bible speak for itself!

But going back to the Romans 10:17 passage once more: “”So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God“.

Some of you may be wondering what “hearing by the word of God” means. Well, Jesus Christ himself IS the Word of God. John 1:1-2 in the New Testament confirms this. Therefore, “hearing BY the word of God” simply means to hear it BY means of Jesus. And to hear it BY Jesus (NOWADAYS) means to hear Jesus speak through the WRITTEN WORD OF GOD (THE BIBLE!) Capeche? (Note: if you’re lucky enough, you can usually find a King James Bible/KJV bible with words of Jesus IN RED!)

So, for example, if you read the Book of Matthew, Chapters 5-7 in the New Testament (known as Jesus’s “Sermon on the Mount”), it’s not hard to “spiritually hear” Jesus’s voice in that sermon, as though you were one of the actual witnesses that were there that day. You can read Jesus’s words in those chapters and just KNOW without a doubt what Jesus was trying to say (and also what he was NOT trying to say!)

And the book of John tells us exactly who Jesus is and where he came from, no questions asked. Genesis tells us how everything in the universe was made (more or less). In fact, each book of the bible has a “story” behind it. An interesting “tidbit” of God’s autobiography to the world; THE MOST amazing autobiography (and love letter) ever written in ALL of existence to ALL of mankind – those who choose to adhere to its contents, that is! Each “book” serves as a “chapter” of the Almighty’s “autobiography”. Question is, do WE as Christians fully accept it? “I” do!

I don’t believe as a Judeo-Christian that I can just pick and choose which parts of the bible I believe and want to read and what parts not. What’s the point in that? Because the bible (philosophically speaking) is either ALL TRUE or it’s not, right folks? Yet I submit to you today that EVERY SINGLE WORD of the bible is true! EVERY. SINGLE. WORD! [Note: Don’t get me started though on how the words “alone” and “Easter” were improperly added – more about that in a different post].

2 Timothy 3: 16-17All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousnessThat the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works”.

In other words, lets say I’ve read the bible front to back (from Genesis to Revelation) a TON of times. But yet, I haven’t read it in a while. Especially the Sermon on the Mount. And lets say I’m holding a slight grudge against someone. Therefore, 2 Timothy 3:16 informs us that NOT ONLY is all scripture given by inspiration of God but that it’s our “golden measuring stick” of righteousness!

Therefore, only by SCRIPTURE am I (the so-called Christian holding a grudge) able to see the “sin” of my grudge and the “proper” way to deal with it. Make sense, folks? That’s WHY it’s ever-so-important that we read our bibles (even if it’s only a couple chapters at a time) on a continual basis so that WE can know what “sin(s)” we must repent of and the proper, spiritual way to act when we’re living out our lives FOR CHRIST!

Some Christians have plenty of TIME to read the bible but they get BORED of reading the bible. That, my friend, is yet ANOTHER type of DEMONIC ATTACK happening against that person whenever that happens! Or have you ever read a certain passage and a voice within your mind started to say: “Blah, blah, blah, I already know how this one’s gonna end?” YET ANOTHER type of demonic attack! There’s SO MANY TYPES of demonic attacks against us that Satan uses that most of the time, we’re not even FULLY AWARE of it!

In fact, not sure if this’ll help anyone out there or not, but here’s all the types of “demonic attacks” (by means of “distractions”) that have happened to me most times I’ve tried sitting down and reading the bible:

1). Thoughts about food/eating would pop into my head

2). I’d see an advertisement for something “cool-looking” at the bottom of the web page I was looking at for this blog (as in, end times news headlines)

3). I would start to sometimes feel really, really sleepy or suddenly get a “throbbing headache” out of nowhere

4). I would get chronically indecisive about WHAT part of the bible I wanted to read, which would then make me give up after awhile

5). Somebody would text me or call me on the phone just AS I was getting started on reading a chapter of the bible

6). I’d suddenly worry about my finances (for no conceivable reason) and would frantically log on to my laptop to check my bank statement

7). I’d get tempted to read a novel, instead OR to log online to check my work schedule

8). ETC.

Conclusion? Distractions are SPIRITUALLY DEADLY! Satan has no doubt tried to put as many “distractions” into our paths as human possibly in order to keep us from reading the written word of God (the bible).

But ya know what, folks? The Book of Revelation even offers a SPECIFIC BLESSING to those who read it:

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand” – [Revelation 1:3]

But again, I DON’T think that just stands for the Book of Revelation only but for the ENTIRE BIBLE ITSELF! I believe that there is a SPECIFIC BLESSING for each and every Christian when they not only READ the bible but fully absorb its contents into their HEARTS, SOULS, MINDS & SPIRITS!

In fact, Romans 8:13 suggests that we must STARVE the flesh in order to FEED the spirit:

“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live”.

Okay, so what does that even MEAN, some may ask? What does it mean to “feed the spirit?” Just like what does it mean to “starve the flesh?”

It means that we must put JESUS FIRST in our lives, even BEFORE our need of food, etc. Now, does that mean we should STARVE OURSELVES and stop eating food, altogether? Ofcourse not! It only means that from time to time, we should fast!

To “fast” means to go for a short period WITHOUT food. And during that time, we’re supposed to do nothing BUT pray & read God’s written word (the bible). This time can be anywhere from 6-24 hours, depending on one’s personal preference. Back in ancient biblical times, this is HOW the Prophets of Old obtained “visions”, “wisdom” or “answered prayers” from the Lord! By withholding physical “pleasures” such as food and showing God that God was FIRST in their lives!

But it’s amazing JUST HOW FAST a person can “stray” from God/Jesus just by not reading their bible in awhile or just happening to be around people that don’t love or honor God! That’s why reading our bibles (and OFTEN) is how we stay CLOSE to Jesus, stay IN THE SPIRITUAL KNOW, become ON-GUARD against any and all SPIRITUAL ATTACKS, etc.! The bible is our MANUAL, our own “instruction book” of righteousness……even part of OUR SPIRITUAL WEAPON AGAINST THE ENEMY – SATAN! (The Bible is FOOD FOR VERY *SOULS!*)

TRUST ME FOLKS, what the Devil fears THE MOST is you reading your bible – AND PUTTING IT INTO PRACTICE! So remember that, folks! Get to reading your bibles again, PUT IT INTO ACTUAL PRACTICE IN YOUR LIVES and spiritually PUNCH Satan where it hurts!

12 Most Important Aspects of the Christian Faith:

The 12 MOST IMPORTANT aspects of the Christian faith are as follows:

1). TO PRAISE THE LORD & Learning to Overcome Times We’re Feeling UNGRATEFUL/ANGRY Towards The Lord so THAT we become GRATEFUL to The Lord for all that he’s done in our lives!

2). TO TRUST IN THE LORD & Learning to Overcome Times When We’re Feeling DISTRUST towards The Lord or distrust for the fact that he’ll do the things he SAYS in the bible or otherwise tells us he will do!

3). TO FAITHFULLY SERVE THE LORD & Learning to Overcome Times When “We Just Don’t Feel Like Serving the Lord” (for whatever reason……”I’ve got too much schoolwork to do”, “it’s football season”, “work’s been hectic lately”, etc.)!

4). TO BELIEVE *IN* THE LORD & Learning to Overcome A LACK OF FAITH *IN* The Lord! (This one is HUGE! For imagine what would’ve happened to the ancient Israelites if Moses had a COMPLETE lack of faith in the Lord or what would’ve happened if Abraham hadn’t had enough faith in the Lord and had actually GONE through with sacrificing Isaac (the chosen seed) in the Old Testament! Those 2 examples illustrate how just ONE person’s lack of faith can *potentially* have devastating results!)

5). TO READ (AND MEDITATE ON) THE BIBLE **OFTEN** & Learning to Overcome the Times “We Just Don’t Feel Like Reading the Bible”! (Again, this one’s also huge! For if you don’t even READ the bible and know what’s in there, front to back – Old Testament to New Testament, Satan and his minions and all the “false teachers” out there can VERY EASILY deceive you since you won’t have the spiritual discernment to know what’s in the bible and what isn’t! So be careful, folks!)

6). TO STUDY THE BIBLE & Not Just “Know” the Bible! (For Anyone Can Quote Scripture or “Know” Scripture but yet, not EVERYONE is able to take the bible and actually APPLY IT TO THEIR VERY LIVES!)

7). TO PRAY & Learning to Overcome The Times in Our Lives When We Feel Like “I Don’t NEED to Pray to God About Anything In My Life Right Now, For I Already HAVE Everything I Need!” (That spiritual attitude of ours that we get from time to time is DEADLY! For it leads to ALL Sin and UNGRATEFULNESS! Satan is EVER-SO-HAPPY when we STOP PRAYING, because it draws us AWAY from Jesus Christ & makes Satan HAPPY WITH GLEE, whenever this happens in our lives! So don’t let Satan win! PRAY CONTINUALLY IN YOUR LIVES!)

8). TO GET BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! (Again, this one’s IMPORTANT: for it’s meant to represent the ceremonial washing away of sins and meant to be a “public declaration” of one’s faith and being “set apart” from the unbelieving/unbaptized world. Now: if someone dies before being baptized, but believed with all their heart, souls and mind in Jesus Christ, will THAT person be saved? I would say yes. But for all the people who HAVE a chance to get baptized — (FULL WATER IMMERSION, NOT “SPRINKLING” SINCE “SPRINKLING” IS UN-BIBLICAL, FOLKS!) — you should get baptized since it’s commanded 7+ times in the bible!

9). TO SPREAD/SHARE THE GOSPEL WITH ALL PEOPLES AND ALL NATIONS ***AND*** TO HELP THOSE IN NEED & Learning To Overcome The Times “We Just Don’t Feel Like Sharing the Gospel With Others”! (Remember all the “lost sheep” out there and remember all the “lost souls” out there who haven’t yet come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, yet. THEY should be your focus. And if they won’t “listen to you”, drop the conversation, move on to another person who might be open to hearing the gospel and then later come back and continually/daily pray for that person. Our God is an awesome God and he answers all diligent prayers of the saints! (that is, to say, you and me). Everyone has a conversion story. What’s YOURS? Share it with the world and don’t wait! (Time is of the essence).

10). TO SPIRITUALLY ENDURE UNTIL HE [JESUS CHRIST] COMES AGAIN ON THE EARTH! (And this is important since, though it’s tempting, we can’t just give up at the first sign of trouble or persecution. For imagine if we were all on a large battlefield and Satan and his demon spirits and ALL non-believers and FALSE TEACHERS were on ONE end of the battlefield and WE were on the OTHER end of the battle field. Okay, now imagine that Satan has given orders for them all to charge at us FULL SPEED AHEAD!

Now imagine that Jesus Christ is standing in the “center” of us, no fear, not moving, not even yet speaking. SOME people on our side are going to become DEATHLY AFRAID (even with Jesus standing right there, in the midst of us) and are going to either run and break ranks or sit down on the ground with their hands up saying “we surrender! we surrender! please don’t hurt us!”while in the meantime, Satan is laughing hysterically with GLEE *AS* he and his demons take the “I surrender” people as “CAPTIVES/PRISONERS OF SPIRITUAL WAR” while Jesus Christ is mourning the loss of them and praying in his great heavenly name for them to come back!)

And SOME folks are just gonna be neutral, not really proclaiming to “fight” for EITHER side (they’re being what’s called “spiritually lukewarm”) and it’s THESE folks that Jesus Christ will be MOST ANGRY at, since they won’t clearly pick either side to “fight” on!

Yet, OTHERS of us on our side of the battle field are going to look over at Jesus, wait for his command and then COUNTER CHARGE with all the faith that they possibly have and can muster. And yes, it being a spiritual battle, they’re likely gonna suffer a wound here, a wound there and might even get knocked down a time or two. Or three. But it’s how they come back AFTER their “wounds” and HOW FAST they come back after their “wounds” that determine if they successfully “stay on course” or not, as the spiritual battle rages on!

11). To LEARN BY EXAMPLE from the Prophets of Old in the Old Testament and by the Disciples/Jesus Christ/etc. in The New Testament! (Many of us can LEARN from the prophets of the Old Testament and from Jesus Christ & his disciples in the New Testament. The Prophets of Old in the Old Testament had both their strengths AND their weaknesses, which we today can DEFINITELY learn from! Just like we can also learn from the strengths & weaknesses of Jesus’ disciples in the New Testament, as well! Oftentimes we forget that the Old Testament prophets and even Jesus’s own disciples were normal human beings, just like us, with thoughts, feelings, and emotions, and occasionally, YES, sin in their life! And how they each individually DEALT with those sins or had their sins DEALT WITH by the Lord can serve as a powerful reminder and teaching tool to us ALL!)

12). To REPENT OF ALL SIN(S) ***AND*** TO FORGIVE THOSE WHO HAVE HURT US!

Further explained:

1). We should always be praising God/Jesus Christ for all that he’s done (not only for the creation of the world and the universe and the heavens but also for what he’s done for the ancient Israelites during the Old Testament and also what Jesus Christ has done for the peoples of the New Testament, as well as what he’s done for us (and/or other people) in our own lives!)

2). We can’t just PRAY for the Lord to do something, we must TRUST that he (in his own due divine time) will do it! We must TRUST that he knows what’s best for us in our lives and trust and wait on HIS timing and not our OWN timing! For it stands to reason: if he created the Earth & the heavens, he TRULY knows what’s best for us and when, does he not? 😉

3). We must SERVE (& love) the Lord with all our heart, all our mind, and all our strength! We can’t just READ his words in the bible, we must also OBEY them! For Jesus Christ said in John 14:15 “ If ye love me, keep my commandments“. And by serving others (such as, helping out those who are less fortunate than us, for example), we are in effect, serving God!

4). We must BELIEVE that Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross and that God the Heavenly Father resurrected him on the 3rd day, as it was written and that 40 days later, he ascended back up to heaven to be on the right hand side of God the Heavenly Father (as was witnessed by several of eyewitnesses in the New Testament).

5). We must not just KNOW the bible but we must READ the bible, in order to have TRUE SPIRITUAL GROWTH. For if you don’t know the bible or what’s in there, you’ll be susceptible to just about ANY false teaching there is, out there!

6). We must not just READ the bible, we must also STUDY the bible, IN GREAT DETAIL! (Even the good Lord himself ENCOURAGED us to study the scriptures in John 5:39 “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me” and in 2 Timothy 3:16 “ All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”.

7). We must constantly PRAY for the things we need in life (ESPECIALLY for the forgiveness of our sins)!

8). There are 7+ bible passages which state that baptism is NECESSARY for the “ceremonial” washing away of sins! [1 Peter 3:21, Galatians 3:27, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Romans 6:3-6, Acts 16: 31-33, Acts 8:35-38, Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, Mark 1:4-5, Mark 28:19-20, etc.) **Note: Mark 3:13-17 and Mark 1:9-11, and John 1:29-33 all show how we are to have a FULL IMMERSION BAPTISM (in a river, bathtub, or swimming pool, etc), NOT A SPRINKLING!!!!!!)

9). Matthew 28:19 states: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”. In other words, Jesus Christ says we are to SPREAD and SHARE the gospel amongst ALL people and ALL nations! **We’re ALSO supposed to help others that are in need!** During the Great White Throne Judgement, Jesus Christ will judge each and every one of us (not only by our faith) but also by HOW WELL we abided in the bible and helped others in need! So if you see a homeless person somewhere, don’t ignore them!

10). Matthew 24:13 states: But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved”. In other words, Jesus Christ warned us in the bible that we would have/experience persecution in this world, reminding us that he himself suffered it, first. However, he promises that he will reward the overcomers! So we must spiritually endure and occupy ourselves until he comes to the Earth again!

Remember that everything of this Earth and on this Earth is ONLY TEMPORARY and that someday soon, the Lord God will create a NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH! Also please remember that as soon as the CURRENT heavens and Earth pass away, the ONLY thing that will matter is your spiritual relationship (or lack of one) with the Lord Jesus Christ! And your spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ or lack of one, or lack of a GOOD one, will determine where you are placed to go, FOR ALL ETERNITY!

And the return of Jesus Christ to the Earth for his saints is IMMINENT! So I pray: if you’re not 100% ready with Jesus Christ today, then please get ready. Time is of the essence! We never know when we’re going to die and/or when Jesus Christ is gonna return for his true “church” (the saints). So we need to constantly pray that we will be ready!

11). It’s funny how modern day Christians tend to look at King David and Samuel and Jesus’s disciples with this sensationalized view, and hold them up on a pedestal, totally forgetting the fact that they all had sins and “faults”, just like you and I. Therefore, actually READING the bible and reading the FULL STORY on each disciple and each Old Testament prophet sort’ve helps put things in true perspective. Not ONE of them was perfect, save for Jesus Christ himself, who was born without sin. Then again, Jesus Christ is more than just a mere “prophet” of God, he’s the Alpha & Omega, the first and the last! The name above all other names! The only begotten Son of God! The True Vine! The Way, The Truth & the Life! The Everlasting God!

12). We must REPENT of our sins in order to have a new life in Jesus Christ! Because without repentance, there’s NO Salvation! For repentance is NECESSARY for Salvation! We must also forgive others who’ve hurt us! For Jesus said in the bible that if WE don’t forgive others that have hurt us or someone close to us, that WE ourselves won’t be forgiven since Jesus can’t let ANY sin into his heavenly kingdom! Holding a grudge against someone = Hate and Hate = Murder in our hearts, according to Jesus Christ Almighty!

I pray that all souls that read this will either come to know Jesus Christ today or GET 100% ready with Jesus Christ today, if they already know him. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
