The Lord Is My Joy & My Salvation! ;)

I can think back on the most happiest moment of MY LIFE! It was when I very first met Jesus Christ for the VERY first time in my life (during a NDE) with NO previous knowledge of him! 😉 

Whenever I look nowadays at the pool steps and look at the very place where he once sat (during my NDE), my soul starts to cry emotional tears of joy and I start to get all joyfully emotional! I can’t help it! 

I think of my life BEFORE Yeshua/Jesus Christ came to rescue me from death that day (in more ways than one) and it seems like my life prior to him was pretty pointless. And then I think about my life AFTER meeting Jesus Christ/Yeshua during my near-death experience and how EXCITING and FULFILLING it was, KNOWING that a) there was a God and that b) that same almighty God really, truly cared about me, no matter what! 😉 I can’t even BEGIN to describe what that feeling is like!

I remember the swimming pool water being extremely cold that day, especially at the point in time when he told me to dunk myself under so he could “baptize me in his great, heavenly name!” I remember the feeling of JOY, ELATION, ESTASTICNESS, PEACE, LOVE, HAPPINESS, HEALING, JUBILATION that came over me as soon as I came back up to the surface of the water! It was the best feeling that my soul has EVER experienced in all its existence!

And when I READ the bible, ESPECIALLY the New Testament, I think to myself with amazement and wonder: “Wow! That is THE JESUS that descended down out of heaven to come save me that day! That is THE JESUS who sat me in his lap and giggled when he splashed water on me! That is THE JESUS who warned me of the End Times and his almighty Judgement! That is THE JESUS who told me I had a pure heart and a dizzying intellect!” And I sometimes feel emotionally overwhelmed. I’ve been known to CRY (emotional tears of jubilation and JOY) when I read certain bible passages about him or spoken directly FROM him!

Though at times in my life I’ve gone through some bad things, and/or have felt extremely anxious and depressed, the Lord Jesus Christ has ALWAYS been there to see me through! Plus (get this!), he EVEN has a SENSE OF HUMOR! I kid you not! Let me share with you one of THE MOST FUNNIEST things he’s ever done:

It was Spring Break 2003. Me and my bestfriend Sarah were heading off to Arizona and New Mexico to see the sites. We drove through severe rain in southern Arizona and by the time we hit Northern Arizona, it was severe blizzard-like conditions. Well, to be quite frank, I was getting quite BORED with the “traditional prayer format” of “Dear Lord, I need this or that. Help me please, Amen”.

So I turned to Sarah and said “Hey dude, I got an idea!“ and started giggling. She was wondering what was up. I then help up a “pretend CB radio with my right hand” while driving and said into the pretend CB radio: “Eagle 1, Eagle 1, this is Eagle 2, over. We need some major help down here. We’re caught in a really bad snow storm right now and there’s about 15 cars or more on the side of the road and we don’t want to become one of them, over”.

I sensed nothing in response so far. So again, I help up my pretend CB-radio in my right hand while driving and said: “Eagle 1, eagle 1, can you hear me, over? 10/4, 10/4, We REALLY, REALLY need your help right now, Eagle 1, I’m dead serious! Do you copy, over?” and just then, Sarah and I heard “static crackle” at what sounded like an ACTUAL CB radio come out of the car’s radio system, along with the audible words: “Stop worrying, eagle 2! Help’s on the way, LOOK BEHIND YOU – OVER“. Sarah and I just looked at each other and both said at the same time, “Is that an ACTUAL CB radio? How did they hear us? Weird…?”

Not long after that, Sarah and I noticed a small U-haul truck coming up in the right-hand lane off to our right. And then, all of a sudden, Sarah said, “Dude, I think you’re supposed to get behind the U-haul truck with their emergency flashers on”. So I quickly got in the right lane and we got behind the small U-haul truck.

And then…..Sarah started giggling. I said, “what’s so funny?” She said, “look at where they’re from!” Their license plate said “Washington”.  Washington was the 1ST PRESIDENT of the U.S. and the Eagle is our National U.S. symbol, THUS, “Eagle 1”! 😉 Therefore, the Lord NOT ONLY gave us an actual CB radio response IN RESPONSE to my pretend CB-radio prayer, but he also HUMORED us a bit in the ANSWERING of the prayer! 😉 Hehehe

But that’s just one of MANY instances where the Lord displayed his sense of humor to me! Another time the Lord displayed his sense of humor is when I was at work, and I was carrying a small metal pan. And about 30 seconds after my crush walked by, something made me “drop” the pan on the floor (that I had had a VERY firm grip on) and it made a BOOMING LOUD CLANG (which made my crush look back and laugh) and I could FEEL the Lord LAUGHING at me and the embarrassed look on my face! Though I could tell it was “affectionate/teasing” type laughter and not the cruel kind. hahaha 😉 

The Lord has ALSO done things where he silently encouraged me to go talk to this person or that person (who ended up being some of the very best friends of my life!) He’s been there for me through thick and thin! When I am smiling, HE is smiling! And when I am crying, I can sense that HE is crying, too! Which makes sense, considering that the bible says that it’s not his will that ANY should perish! 

Before Jesus came into my life, I was nothing, I was no-one! But IN him, I am everything, I am SOMEONE! Apart from him, I can do NOTHING! But WITH him, I can do ANYTHING! He’s helped me overcome my anxiety on certain things and my soda pop addition, etc. (some things I thought I’d NEVER break free from!) He’s helped to humble me and to correct me when I need correcting! He’s enlightened me and taught me SO many things about what his word IS and what it isn’t!

He’s taken the spiritual blinders off my eyes and has now shown me his full gospel IN FULL! He’s given me strength when I was depressed, downtrodden, anxious, alone or angry! He’s helped me to overcome the most difficult of situations and people! He’s grabbed me out of Satan’s grasp more than once! He will ALWAYS be there to listen to me whenever I have a problem, struggle or question about something! Basically, he’s the best thing that EVER happened to me in this life and apart from him, I WOULD have no reason for being! I am ALIVE today because of HIM! I am forgiven of all my sins because of HIM and the spiritual sacrifice he made for ALL of mankind! And someday, I’ll get to live with him FOREVERMORE!

The Lord Delivers From Addictions!

I’ve heard and come across many people who were addicted to drugs. And though I’ve never done a hard drug in my life and have NO IDEA what that’s like (selling nearly all you have just for that one “fix” or “hit”), I HAVE struggled (and overcome) OTHER “addictions” in my life.

Drug addiction can honestly be compared to several other addictions like sex, alcohol, porn, food, smoking, shopping, Youtube, masturbating, Netflix, sugary drinks/soda, videogames, gambling, etc. Why? Because the physiological effects are the same! These addictions “reward” the “pleasure center” of the brain and after the brain develops a “tolerance level” to it, it needs more and more and more just to be able to feel the same “pleasure” (high levels of dopamine/endorphins release).

After awhile, the body (and brain) becomes SO used to these “addictions”, that the physical body suffers severe withdrawals if said thing is not had (though drug and alcohol withdrawals are the MOST intense out of ANY of the “addictions” mentioned). But HERE is where the lies of Satan and his demons come in (as a whole): THEY are the ones lying to you in your MIND, saying things like, “You better have more of this addiction right now, or else you’ll DIE!” [And yes, some people who starve themselves COMPLETELY of their “addiction” — during a SEVERE drug/alcohol withdrawal symptom/s — DO die, but that’s a different post for a different day].

Lets say you have a food, sex, porn, or soda addiction, for example. Your body gets SO used to it, that it almost feels like DEATH the moment you try to DEPRIVE yourself of said thing or things. You might even feel like you’re gonna pass out and die if you don’t have it – whatever the “addiction” may be. Your brain says, “I NEED IT! I NEED IT!” While your physical body CRAVES IT! But you have to understand that the ROOT CAUSE of the addiction is not so much PHYSICAL as it is SPIRITUAL! For the true “root” of the addiction problem comes from Satan and his demons “tricking you” into thinking that you NEED that thing/s when you DON’T! 

So what do you DO, in that instance? Answer: Call upon the name of the Lord Jesus/Yeshua, in all spirit and all truth! And don’t just call out to him half-heartedly! Call out to him FROM THE DEPTHS OF YOUR BEING! Call out to him from the pure depths of your MIND, HEART, BODY AND SPIRIT! Tell him how long you’ve struggled with said addiction! Tell him you’re tired of said addiction and that you’d rather own IT, in his great heavenly name, instead of IT owning YOU! And then……..HAVE THE FAITH THAT HE’LL DELIVER YOU FROM SAID ADDICTION(S) AND HE **WILL**, MARK MY WORDS! 

For years and years and years and years and YEARS, I struggled with a SEVERE soda pop addiction! I know that might sound *laughably funny* to SOME, but I’m DEAD SERIOUS! The psychological/physiological effects I suffered from soda pop withdrawal was probably not much different from what an alcoholic suffers when they can’t have their alcohol or when a crack addict can’t have their crack. It was THAT bad.

I would get these TERRIBLE HEAD-SPLITTING MIGRAINE HEADACHES that felt like my head was being crushed AND aggressively pulled apart on each “temple area” on the sides of my head and also behind BOTH EYES! (Not to mention I’d also feel EXTREMELY NAUSEOUS and I’d feel pain from my head to my stomach!) And these headaches would hurt SO BAD, that I’d CRY and moan in AGONY for HOURS! (Even drinking caffeine or taking actual headache medicine didn’t seem to help either, usually!) 

And if people that hadn’t known me saw me, they probably would’ve thought I was going through some type of SEVERE alcohol/drug withdrawal, instead of mere soda pop withdrawal. {What the HECK do they put in those soda pops on the market today, anyways? I wonder if it was the “phenylalaline” ingredient that did that to me? Because I know they put that ingredient in Diet AND Regular sodas……}

However, that was only when I experienced severe withdrawals from having no soda pop [like, when I was younger and my parents refused to buy any or when I was older and forgot to get some at the store and ran out of it, etc]. As long as I had atleast ONE soda pop a day (be it Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, whatever), I was usually fine. But even WITH drinking the soda pop once a day, I’d sometimes STILL get the *withdrawal symptoms* that I’d get when I’d have NONE (Weird, huh?), and again, the process would sometimes start all over again……the head-splitting headaches, the pain, the nausea…..

When I was about 25 or so, I FINALLY discovered a migraine medication that actually WORKED (which was Exedrin migraine). It would knock out my migraines in 15 minutes flat and would help me to go about my day, whenever I started to get a headache or a migraine. However, keeping around a constant supply of Exedrin migraine pills then became a “hazard” for me (spiritually AND physically) because it actually allowed me to dwelve deeper and deeper into my soda pop addiction. It was then that I started drinking 2, sometimes as much as 3 Dr. Peppers or Cokes a day. It became an OUT-OF-CONTROL addiction. And I started gaining weight, as a result.

I still read my bible and prayed at this time and the Lord was showing me so much through his written word in the bible. But I still hadn’t fully understood at around age 20 what I do, NOW: In order to feed THE SPIRIT, we must STARVE the flesh! Because if we FEED THE FLESH/BODY, we are STARVING THE SPIRIT! And if we are starving the spirit in ANY type of way, we are giving heed to SIN! In other words, at around age 20, I was still controlled by my LUSTS (my lust for food, my lust for soda pop, and the occasional lust for the opposite sex).

And it wasn’t really until the end of last year or beginning of this year that I was FINALLY able to permanently BREAK FREE from my soda pop addiction……..the thing that had held me physically and spiritually captive FOR YEARS! “How did you do it?”, some might ask. Answer: Two things! Through the help of the Lord God Almighty and something called Hint bottled water! (Hint bottled water can be ordered at: http://www.drinkhint.com). In other words, the Lord God Almighty (atleast in MY life, anyways) utilized Hint bottled water in order to help ME break my soda pop addiction FOR GOOD! Plus (as a whole) I no longer get the nausea and migraine head-aches that used to come with it! I feel so blessed! 🙂

And now, if I try to drink a soda (even a diet one), it tastes WAY TOO SWEET! (Glory be to God!) Therefore, the Lord has successfully delivered me from THREE addictions last year: lust, alcohol and soda pop! 

The Devil is SO GOOD at telling people LIES: “You’re biologically programmed to be attracted to the opposite sex, might as well act on it”, “there’s nothing wrong with masturbation or porn viewing”, “there’s nothing wrong with drinking sugary soft drinks all day”, “there’s nothing wrong with over-eating!”, “there’s nothing wrong with getting an abortion or being an active homosexual”, “there’s nothing wrong with not reading the bible or not believing in the bible”, “there’s nothing wrong with getting high/doing drugs”, etc.

Basically, his LIE starts out with the 4 words: “THERE’S NOTHING WRONG WITH ________”. Now think about that. TRULY think about that for awhile. If there was “nothing wrong” with _________, then why is the bible so AGAINST it? Ask yourselves that, folks!

The sad thing with people with addictions is that they feel so hopeless and as if they have “no way out”. But ya know what? According to Revelation 20:10 “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever”. Therefore, we know from this passage that Satan HAS ALREADY BEEN DEFEATED (in the Lord’s future timeline) and is nothing more than a DEFEATED FOE!

So when you hear that little voice in your head that says things like, “You’re gonna get a headache if you don’t drink a soda pop today”, “If you go gambling, you’ll make more money”, “If you get high, it’ll be the best high you’ve ever experienced”, “If you have an affair on your spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend, nobody will EVER know”, “you better have some alcohol or you’ll die”, “there’s nothing wrong with porn viewing and/or masturbation, go for it“, IGNORE IT! For that’s the voice of the DEVIL and/or his demons talking to you, trying to get you to do things that go AGAINST the Word of God! [Please remember that the Word of God is Jesus Christ Almighty HIMSELF and that the bible is considered the WRITTEN Word of God!]

Philippians 4:13 is one of the most beautiful pieces of scripture for it says: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. Wow. SO TRUE, people of God! SO TRUE! Each and every time I feel tempted with something, I think about those words and apply them to my life.

Another passage that gives me strength in time of trials/temptations is Isaiah 54:17 which states: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord”.

So I’ve told you all how I got delivered from soda pop addiction. I went from drinking 2-4 caffeinated, sugary sodas A DAY to now only drinking ONE can or HALF a can of non-caffeinated soda (if that) every Shabbat/Sabbath (Saturday) for my “Shabbat wine” since I don’t really like to drink alcohol OR soda anymore (as a whole).

And yes, I will sometimes drink a can or two of 7-Up every great once in awhile when I’m not feeling good/have a cold or have an occasional Strawberry Welch’s/Diet soda (like, maybe once a month or every other month or so, if that). But that is nowhere NEAR the ungodly amounts of soda I used to drink every single day, when my soda addiction was still going strong. And sometimes, even the tiniest bit of soda I DO drink tastes too sweet for me. So perhaps I might have to switch to tea or water for my “shabbat wine” from now on. Anyways……….

Some of you are probably wondering what I meant about my lust addiction, what all it entailed and how I got delivered from it. Well, the truth is, I hardly ever lusted or watched porn and that sort’ve thing when I was around age 20 or so. But every great, great once in awhile when I DID, it became addicting and out of control! More like “binge porn”, if you will.

And finally one day, I realized something. Most of the people in the porn business (be they male or female) were sexually abused as a child. So when you watch those people in actual sex acts, it’s like you’re watching that child (as an adult) get visually sexually abused all over again. In fact, the Lord showed me visions/mental images of many of those porn stars as children, fearfully crying as they were being sexually abused by their relative or a stranger! And it made my heart absolutely DISGUSTED at porn watching and I just couldn’t watch it anymore! I prayed to the Lord to remove ALL porn viewing from my heart and he did!

That was YEARS AGO and I still hold the same view, TODAY! Porn watching is WRONG! It not only destroys the mind, heart, body and spirit but it destroys relationships and marriages, it has MANY bad long-term psychological effects on the people who view it (such as a reduction of brain cells, according to several scientific studies……but again, why is that surprising?), it makes men disrespect women and women “objectify” men, etc. 

But in fact, the Lord’s now got it to the point in my life where now I can look at a guy and think he’s attractive without wanting to do anything with him physically (as a whole). And yes, I might still have a “lustful thought” from time to time (I’m only human), but I know in my heart and soul that the Lord’s gonna find a way to deliver me out of such things if/when I do and that fact alone pisses the Devil off! Because I know the Devil’s wanting and hoping that I’ll fall back into lust and soda pop addiction again but alas, those things will NEVER HAPPEN, MARK MY WORDS!

Again, the devil becomes SO ANGRY whenever I won’t give in to “temptations”. I know it is a time of “testing” and the Lord’s “refining” in my life. And I am okay with that. Because I know in the end that I will pass nearly every test, for the most part! And I know that if there’s ever a time I fail at such “tests”, that the Lord can help me pick myself up, dust myself off, repent and truly start living for him again once more! For I know as a FACT that it was the Lord of the bible who delivered me from such things (as a whole!) The same Lord that plagued Egypt, parted the Red Sea, closed the mouths of lions and much, much more! 

I KNOW it was THE LORD who spiritually delivered me from such UNGODLY THINGS and it’s the Lord of the bible and ALL creation that I’d like to PRAISE HIGHLY! 

Because I KNOW as a fact that I wasn’t spiritually delivered from these things alone/of my own accord and that the Lord had HIS mighty hand in all of this! There’s no doubt in my mind, WHATSOEVER! GLORY BE TO HIS GREAT, MIGHTY, HEAVENLY NAME! 😉

[On the other hand, women: BE FOREWARNED about today’s guys. And guys: be forewarned about today’s women. Whenever you date them, they WILL try to manipulative you for sex sooner or later. At first, it’s so subtle: they’ll make sexual comments about a movie scene they saw in a general movie or mention about a sexual comment one of their close friends had most recently made or tell a dirty joke, etc. 

And THEN, they’ll start with the common tagline, “But EVERYONE’S doing it……you’re gonna have quite a bit of trouble keeping a guy (if female) or a girl (if male) if you DON’T do it with him/her!” (Which implies said guy or said girl will leave you if you don’t have sex with THEM!) Oh well, just let that person leave you, in that case. They’re not worth it, in that scenario. For if they REALLY, TRULY loved you, sex would be the furthest thing from their mind, as they’d be far more focused on YOU and just merely enjoying being AROUND you and spending time with you and just merely having you in their presence!

And NO, not EVERY single straight guy (and ESPECIALLY straight female) is “doing it”. Some have strong religious convictions. Others tend to be on the Asexual side of the scale. So no, not EVERYONE is “doing it”, as it were. Although it’s probably true to say that VERY FEW are refraining from “doing it” (as a whole). However, if everyone were jumping off a cliff, would YOU do it, too? Just because there’s ALOT of people “doing something” doesn’t make it RIGHT, so remember that, folks!].    

But the point I wanted to make is THIS: If the Lord can deliver ME from MY past addictions, he can MOST CERTAINLY deliver YOU from YOURS! 😉

So why not call out to the Lord of all creation today? Why not call out to him with all your might (your mind, heart, body AND spirit) and TELL HIM how much you want to be spiritually delivered from all your addictions today!

But KNOW this: As soon as you TRY to break free from addictions in the Lord’s heavenly name, the Devil and his demons will fight you ALL ALONG THE WAY! So you gotta be STRONG! You gotta KEEP WITH IT! Don’t give up! Keep going! You CAN overcome it and you WILL overcome it! For if the Lord created the universe and the heavens, doesn’t it stand to reason that the Lord can help ANY one person on this Earth overcome any one THING or THINGS? Think about it, folks!

The Lord’s NOT gonna create the ENTIRE universe and the heavens, and then scratch his head in confusion over how to help a person overcome their addiction(s), am I right? 😉

But again, I’m not really sure why I share all this (all my personal struggles with addictions and overcoming them) but I hope this will help someone out there who’s struggling with some sort of addiction(s), be they great or small.

Money is the Root of All Evil: (Woes of Hollywood)

Look at any famous person today and you will likely see a lavish lifestyle. Nice houses (oftentimes, more than one), one or several nice cars, lavish clothes and jewelry, marble floors, cathedral ceilings, fancy chandeliers, etc.

But oftentimes, behind all the money, fortune and fame, there’s an inner sadness inside of them; a restless sadness that never seems to be satisfied. Cause the cliche really IS true: money does NOT buy happiness, but rather, it buys MISERY.

But many famous celebrities don’t know HOW to deal with that sadness that eats away at their soul night and day and so they oftentimes turn to sex, drugs, alcohol, social media, etc. to try to make themselves feel better. But instead of making them feel better, it oftentimes makes them feel even WORSE.

And it seems that no matter HOW hard they try to fill that huge hole in their life, NOTHING seems to fill it. They’re restless, caught in a trap of sin and greed by which they feel as though they can not break free.

Many people who are NOT famous wish they were famous. But they don’t realize what they’re actually asking FOR: they’re asking for a life of money, fame and MISERY. For while these rich celebrities might APPEAR to have it made, one step closer INTO the “matrix” of “celebrity” (in and of itself), paints a completely different picture, ENTIRELY.

Imagine if you had someone/a group of people telling you what to wear, what to say, how to act, whom to date, etc. And imagine you had to sign your name IN BLOOD with a contract with the devil, in order to get rich and famous. Would it be worth it?

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” – Mark 8:36

And then imagine what would happen if you later decided it WASN’T worth it and wanted to try to “get out” of the Luciferian system of “celebrity”? That is when the “Luciferian establishment” would decide you needed to be killed and taken out. There’s been a weird string of celebrities lately in the last few years or so dying in “fiery car crashes”,”cancer”, “drug OD’s”, “suicide”, etc. It makes me wonder if some of those celebrities were actually trying like HECK to get “OUT of the Luciferian system of celebrity”, sort’ve speak.

Also as well: the bible condemns gambling. Buying lottery tickets or being on a money game show is actually a form of gambling. And so when someone wins a MAJOR amount of money, what they’re REALLY winning is a whole lot of INNER MISERY. Jesus Christ had THIS to say about money:

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon” – Matthew 6:24

Money makes people do the most evilest of things! People kill for it……Investigation Discovery is CHALK-FULL of programs about people who kill people to get insurance money or the like. Men use money to buy hookers. People fraud people out of money to further their own financial gains. It makes people FULL OF GREED. The bible prophesied of a time near the end when Jesus said: “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold” – Matthew 24:12 (Translation? Because sin will increase by leaps and bounds near/in the times of the End, many people shall be *full of greed* and the love of money/material things is pretty much at the ROOT of all greed, if you ask ME!)

But one thing is for sure: the love of money is the root of all evil and leads to DESTRUCTION. Look at how many famous people were DESTROYED by fame. You look at their before and after pictures and you see someone quite different from the person they used to be. The person before they were famous was actually humble-looking and human. A person AFTER they became famous is something ENTIRELY different. Look REALLY CLOSELY at their “after fame” pictures and you will oftentimes (though not always) see cold eyes, an arrogant look, etc. Their morals change, their values change, their reputation changes. Their focus becomes on MONEY and how to SPEND IT.

And this doesn’t just apply to celebrities, this can apply to non-celebs, as well. Take a look at someone BEFORE they inherit lots of money from a trust fund or late relative, for example. Then examine the person AFTER they inherit lots of money. Notice anything different? Chances are, if you’ve examined the person closely, you’ve likely seen a slight change in them and they seem like a different person “post money” than they did “pre money”, correct?

Another TEXTBOOK CASE of when “money destroys” is King Saul in the Old Testament. When he first started out after being anointed the “King of Israel” by the Prophet Samuel, he was humble, had a true heart for the Lord God, etc. But AFTER he was King of Israel for awhile, GREED began to set in and his LOVE OF MONEY grew by leaps and bounds and as a result, his love for the Lord God grew THINNER AND THINNER until it was almost non-existent! MONEY DESTROYS PEOPLE and King Saul was a PRIME EXAMPLE! [Note: You can read about the story of King Saul in 1 Samuel 9 (Old Testament, book of 1 Samuel chapter 9) through 1 Samuel 31 (Old Testament, book of 1 Samuel, chapter 31)].

The famous people that “donate to charity” oftentimes feel guilty about all the extra money they have laying around and want to feel a little better about themselves, thus, they “donate to charity”. But what are they donating to charity FOR? Are they doing it for the glory of God/Jesus Christ or for the glory of themselves and their “image”?

Many people in today’s world (celebrities and non-celebrities alike) seem to have the thought: “if I just had lots of money, that’d solve all my problems”. But what they don’t realize is that MONEY INCREASES PROBLEMS and MONEY BREEDS MISERY. The saying is true: “the more you have, the more you want”. When you’re “rich” and “have everything you need”, you feel restless and unfulfilled. But when you have to actually WORK for things, you tend to appreciate them more, am I right?  

Many people who aren’t famous oftentimes can’t understand why certain celebrities are “so miserable” and struggle with “depression/drugs/alcohol” and the like. But what the non-famous people won’t realize is that fame is A PRISON……yes, you heard me right…..a PRISON…..a spiritual prison by which they will never break free UNLESS they defy it all and become a believer and follower of Jesus Christ Almighty!!!!!!!

Because the truth is, God gave us all a conscience FOR A REASON!!! And I think, deep deep down, many of them KNOW what they’re doing is wrong and they feel guilty about it. Sadly, many of them are SO far deep down the rabbit hole of Luciferian darkness, that they don’t know HOW or where to begin, on their personal quest to move towards Jesus Christ and AWAY from the darkness that encapsulates them!

Many of them fear being put out on the streets and left with NOTHING. So they stay. Even though the “hazards” of fame and fortune are wearing down on them, they feel as though they have no choice BUT to stay in the “Luciferian system” of things. And this is SO sad & tragic. Because if they would just SUBMIT themselves to the Lord Jesus Christ, once and for all, and QUIT Hollywood/celebrity/fame, and COMPLETELY leave Hollywood/fame behind, IN THE DUST (as in, physically AND spiritually move away from LA/Hollywood altogether), I’m nearly certain that the Lord Jesus Christ would forgive them, welcome them with open arms, and give them a brand new spiritual life IN HIM!

I believe that if they TRULY want to serve Jesus Christ from now on and NOT Satan and want to TRULY make amends for their past Satanic ways, as in, going public with their faith and talking about all the reasons why they were wrong to have previously turned to fame/Hollywood/Satanism and also talk about WHY people need to put their faith, trust and love into Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ NON-STOP until the day they die,  I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ can save them and use them in mighty, powerful ways to help turn young people AWAY from Satan/Satanism and turn them towards the light/Jesus Christ]].

[[HOWEVER: the book of Revelation talks about the Mark of the Beast. In the end times (which we’re currently living in, btw), world governments are working towards a one world government, one world religion and one world economic “system”. And this “new system” will arise out of “seeming chaous” (political, religious, economic). But a man will come onto to the world scene and appear to be the answer to everyone’s problems. This being (likely disguised as a mortal man) will be the Antichrist. He will require ALL flesh (man, woman, child) to take a mark on their right hand or their forehead in order to be able to buy or sell. And God says that WHOMEVER takes “The Mark” will NOT be forgiven in THIS life OR the next life, which is eternity. Don’t believe me? The “technology” for that sort’ve thing is ALREADY HERE, FOLKS! Examine:]]

Jesus Christ himself said in Matthew 19:26 “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” and in John 14:13-14 “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it“.

But the simple answer is this: ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF JESUS CHRIST ALMIGHTY WILL NOT PROSPER! Let me put that in a different way. The REASON these people feel such a huge hole in their soul is BECAUSE they don’t have Jesus Christ in their lives! The answer is SO simple, it’s often overlooked! Many of them turn to Buddhism or Kabbalah or other “New Age” religion to try to “free their mind” from “the system” but the truth is, Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Eternal Paradise, the ONLY way to receive eternal forgiveness of sins and the ONLY way to be set free of things!

Some “celebs” have left the Hollywood scene behind to “focus on family” and the like. But my guess is that some of these folks “found Jesus Christ” and just don’t want to say that in the public media (for whatever reason). But for all those tons and tons of “celebs” who haven’t yet found Jesus Christ, I pray for them and my heart grieves for them! For they have NO IDEA of the “hell” that they’re headed for, after they die! ;(

Many of these people were “broken”, to begin with. They came from an abusive household, their parents got divorced when they were young, they’ve struggled with depression their whole lives, they were sexually or physically abused as a kid and so for THEM, acting/singing/writing is a sort’ve “escape” from these things. And they seem to have this way of thinking: “if I just become famous, that’ll solve all my problems and I’ll never have to hurt or want for anything ever again!”

But oftentimes, what they don’t realize is that money/fortune/fame INCREASES their problems and MULTIPLIES THEM, by leaps and bounds. And then, when they are broken BEYOND broken, they oftentimes turn to “Satan” in hopes that Satan can make all their problems go away. But if anything, Satan TRAPS THEM into the world of darkness with threats, fear, etc., so that they feel as though they can never leave.

But with Jesus Christ Almighty, and by the POWER of Jesus Christ Almighty, they CAN leave the Luciferian system of celebrity and start a new life in Jesus Christ (if they so desire) and they want to, badly enough. For Jesus Christ can take the most FILTHIEST sinner and make them spiritually cleansed/”as white as snow”, if a person truly submits to his heavenly name! 

Even Kanye West (of all people) admitted ON STAGE (about selling his soul to the devil) that : “I know it was a crappy deal”. So sounds to me as if he has some MAJOR REGRETS about the whole thing. (But the good news is that JESUS CHRIST CAN STILL SAVE AND REDEEM HIM, SINCE SATAN/THE DEVIL/THE HORNED ONE/THE PIED PIPER IS A LIAR AND A FRAUD!) Bob Dylan ALSO didn’t look very happy during a recent interview on 60 minutes in which he admitted he sold his soul for money, fortune and fame. (BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT EVEN HE TOO, CAN STILL BE SAVED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, IF HE SO CHOOSES! SATAN/THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!)

So many of them, once they discover “it’s not all it’s cracked up to be”, live to REGRET IT and feel TRAPPED, as though they have NO WAY OUT…. But what I’m here to say today is that with Jesus Christ Almighty, they CAN have a way out. True, they might have to go back to being average Joe Schmoe or Jane Doe and might even have to work a day job, but so what, it’d be worth it.

Things in your home that attract Demon Spirits

After seeing what appears to be a “spike” in demonic activity among the general human populace, (one can tell this just by reading some of today’s news headlines…), I feel compelled to write a post about things in your home that might be attracting demon spirits. And believe me, this is NO joking matter! It’s a life or death situation, as far as the spiritual state of your soul and eternal salvation goes! This is NOT A GAME, folks! It is an all out WAR FOR YOUR SOUL! Your ETERNAL FATE depends on it! MARK MY WORDS!

The following is a list of things you should THROW OUT AND GET RID OF, if you are in possession of any them! And while some items are obvious, some are NOT so obvious! They are as follows:

1. Anything that goes DIRECTLY AGAINST the glory of Almighty Yeshua/Jesus Christ and his gospel. This can be books (like Harry Potter, New Age/Yoga/Witchcraft books, etc.), movies (like The Craft, The Omen, Practical Magic, etc.), TV programs on disc (such as Investigation Discovery, Game of Thrones, Salem, American Horror Story, etc. which both glorify sex and murder), boardgames (especially Ouija, Wiccan/Satanic type games), magazines [such as porn, Cosmopolitan {{which puts a woman’s focus on all the wrong things in life, especially if she’s single and not married, etc.}}, New Age/Satanic pictures/posters/artwork, Satanic music (dark metal, New Age, trance, sensual pop/r&b, etc.), Satanic videogames such as World of Warcraft/Starcraft/Grand Theft Auto series, etc.
2. Any objects that deal DIRECTLY with Paganism/Wicca/Satanism and/or the Occult (again, OUIJA BOARDS, dream catchers, horoscopes, crystal balls, “talking mirrors”, TAROT CARDS, incense, “holy water”, black candles or crosses, “nature alters”, pentagrams, inverted crosses, lottery tickets [yes, lottery tickets are occultic in nature, similar to horoscopes], etc.)
3. Idols or graven images such as statues of Buddha/Krishna/Kali, the Virgin Mary, the “saints” (actually “DEMONS“) of the Catholic Church, Satan, dragons, golden “trophy” idols (first, second or third place trophies), Oscar awards, “hunting trophies”, etc. [Now…..I know I might sound a bit harsh and overbearing there when I say that but the Lord’s most recently shown me that ANY type of “trophy” IS an IDOL, much like the golden calf in Moses and Aaron’s time. Alot of people may think they don’t “actively worship” the “golden trophy” but when they have them prominently displayed somewhere and take GREAT pride in them, they actually DO worship the “trophy”, according to the Lord!]
4. Home altars dedicated to the Virgin Mary, “saints” (aka “DEMONS“) of the Catholic Church, Satan, Buddha, Krishna/Brahma/Kali, etc.
5. Halloween and Easter bunny decorations and “Christmas idols”, Santa Claus idols, ADORNED CHRISTMAS TREES (which is what the Lord actually considers to be one of THE MOST abominable IDOLS of OUR TIME), etc. (Because YES, these things truly represent “demonic spirits”/adherence to Satan & demons, WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!)
6. “Intellectual” books about Jesus Christ/Christianity/the bible: these only serve to MAKE YOU DOUBT the true gospel of Jesus Christ by WATERING DOWN the gospel of Jesus Christ and to subtly CONFUSE YOU! MARK MY WORDS! They come with quotes such as “was Jesus Christ TRULY the son of God/God in the flesh or just a major prophet?”, “Was Jesus actually pierced on a cross and not a TREE?” and so on and so forth. You might be thinking to yourself right now: “yeah right, that intellectual stuff would NEVER confuse me” but trust me, over time, it WILL start to change your thinking about the stuff in the bible, bit by bit, little by little, if you let it. Plus it (the subtle deception from all the “intellectual articles and books” written about Jesus, that is) all happens SO very subtly that you don’t even REALIZE it until the very last minute! So just throw it out and read the bible (preferably KJV), ONLY! Then you can be rest assured you will not be deceived by all the “liberal interpretations” of Jesus Christ Almighty!
   
7.  Any books written by FALSE PROPHETS such as Joel Osteen (UNBIBLICAL “prosperity gospel”), Rick Warren (UNBIBLICAL view that all Christians should UNITE with “Catholic Church”, which is one of THE MOST unbiblical churches on the ENTIRE PLANET), Tim LaHaye (UNBIBLICAL view of Pre-tribulation rapture), etc.! And again, please don’t misunderstand me, I’m not calling out these people PERSONALLY, I’m just calling out the unbiblical DOCTRINES (in and of themselves) that they teach! There’s a difference, here.  
8. Any books on Satanism/Witchcraft/New Age philosophy, in general (this is HUGE!!!!) It might seem “innocent” to want to try to “educate yourself” on the matters, but when you attempt to “educate yourself” on those matters, you’re actually inviting demons INTO your heart, mind, spirit and home (no joke!) In fact, even if you go out and buy a book that’s written by a “Former Witch/Satanist *Turned Christian*”, be VERY discerning! Many Wiccans/Satanists today will go out of their way to write books, PRETENDING to have converted to Christianity/Jewish-roots Christianity in order to “infiltrate” the true “church of God” (which is the body/assembly of believers!) So BEFORE you read such books from “ex-Pagans/Satanists”, pray that the Lord will show you rather or not the book is GENUINE or if it’s something that was meant to deceive the masses and slowly drawl them INTO the Occult. 
9. ***Any sort of clowns, dolls, masks, puppets, or stuffed animals***. I can’t emphasize this one enough!!! Because lets face it, when we bring dolls/etc. into the home (of ANY sort, even if it’s Barbies or G.I. Joe’s/Jane’s), we’re actually inviting demon spirits INTO our homes and telling them it’s “OK” for them to be there!!! Child’s dolls/stuffed animals [ESPECIALLY the “talking kind”, like Furby or Teddy Ruxspin, for instance] can serve as a DEMONIC PORTAL! Think about it. They “talk” to their dolls/stuffed animals, they “sit them up at the dinner table”, the “dolls”/”stuffed animals” then become like a normal part of the family! [Case in point: I used to have a Teddy Ruckspin when I was little. And one time, I noticed after talking to him that his mouth “bit and locked ONTO my finger(s)” and wouldn’t let go! I cried for my mother to come into the room and the “toy” kept repeatedly “chomping on my fingers” real hard with glowing/blinking red eyes, a voice that once or twice said “Satan” and a terrible “electric smell” with the motor “smoking”! After SEVERAL attempts to pry the thing off my fingers and FINALLY succeeding (AFTER saying a silent prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, that is), my mom was forced to throw it out FOR GOOD! TRUE STORY.] 
10. Any form of weed/drugs/drug paraphernalia and hard-liquor alcohol. Have you ever wondered why the outside of liquor stores say “wine and SPIRITS?” That’s right. Alcohol contains “spirits” in them. Spirits in them that infiltrate the body and MIND! You might think I’m joking but I’m not! I have seen firsthand what hard liquor has done and can do to people! It POSSESSES them! That’s WHY they do crazy things and then don’t remember them! People say “the alcohol made me black out”. No, the demon spirits IN the alcohol are what makes a person black out and then not remember what happened, etc.
11. Also: when a person “gets high”, they are “altering their mind” and allowing “demon spirits” to come inside and take COMPLETE CONTROL of their mind and body and INFILTRATE THEM! That’s why many people on drugs do UNGODLY things and then later try to claim “I was high”. No, they weren’t “high” per say but rather, fully DEMONICALLY POSSESSED, is what they were. Also: “Getting High” is such an INTERESTING phrase, considering that Satan & demons ORIGINALLY fell from Heaven (“up on high”). In fact, when many people “get high”, they oftentimes describe the feeling of “encounters with demons” and “feeling possessed”. Well, quite frankly, that’s because they ARE possessed by the weed or the drugs! And the weed/drugs actually INVITES the demons INTO their minds and hearts and bodies and once they enter INTO the body, they very rarely go!]
12. Any religious book (and I do mean ANY religious book, including Native American/shamanistic religious myths/legends type books) that is NOT the King James Bible (I’m DEAD SERIOUS!) Get rid of The Book of Mormon, The Qu’ran (unless using it to REBUKE Muslims on their false doctrines), books promoting Egyptology or Evolution, The “Catholic bible”, or anything to do with New Age/meditation/yoga/Satanism/Buddha/Hinduism, or *ANY* MODERN DAY TRANSLATIONS/**COUNTERFEITS** OF THE BIBLE LIKE NIV, ESL, NSB, QJV, etc.

You can do what I call a “purging ceremony”. That is where you gather up ALL the things in your home that go directly AGAINST the gospel of Jesus Christ/Salvation, put it in a box or trash bag and then THROW IT OUT, never to look back again! You have one or two choices: you can either set them in a deep barrel/pile somewhere and BURN THEM….OR you can throw them out in the trash. But right before you throw them out in the trash (assuming you’re not burning them), be sure to DEFACE THEM, first! (I’ll admit I forgot to do that earlier when I threw all my stuff out, so I pray that no poor unfortunate soul(s) find it and become spiritually affected by it!)

If they’re CD’s of demonic metal/rock/new age/etc music, deface and scratch up the CD. If they’re a book or movie, take a black marker and deface all the print on the pages (if a book) or totally scratch up the DVD (if a movie). If it’s a Ouija board or dream catcher, cut it up, deface it and smash it to bits! The REASON why you must deface the objects FIRST and THEN throw them out is because if you don’t, there’s a fairly good chance that some poor helpless soul (i.e. some unfortunate homeless person and/or trash digger) will go digging through the trash and find it and THEMSELVES become affected by it, spiritually.

And if defacing them seems like too much work OR if you can’t find a deep barrel to burn them in, you can build a huge bonfire at a beach or camping site and BURN THEM! And believe it or not, that’s what the Lord’s people did back in ancient biblical times when they repented of their idolatry and turned back to the Lord! (Though some of some were not so lucky and were destroyed by the Lord or his prophets OUTRIGHT!) But of those lucky repentant souls who survived, they burned and/or defaced their objects of idolatry to show the Lord that they had truly repented of their idolatry and turned back to HIM, the Lord above!

And many people would probably laugh at this sort’ve topic on the onset and say in response: “come on man, demon spirits can’t come through music/books/movies/videogames/etc., lets get real, here” but oftentimes, what those folks don’t realize is that WHEN an anti-Christian/New Age/**wayward Christian** type book is printed, or WHEN a master copy of a non-Christian or “wayward Christian” CD/videogame/bible or movie is made, it’s often placed upon a Satanic/Wiccan altar BEFORE being placed on the market and demon spirits are conjured up INTO that master copy and then, all subsequent copies have the “demon spirits” follow them wherever they go and to whomever they go to. Believe me, I know this sounds stranger than fiction but it’s true, MARK MY WORDS! 

Nearly everything coming from Hollywood and the big publishing companies/printing presses are anything BUT Christian. Many are Luciferian with a spiritual and/or monetary ax to grind, sort’ve speak. Satan LOVES books, music, TV, videogames and movies and will STOP AT NOTHING to get his agenda across through them! He knows he can’t come at a person directly as in: “hi, I’m the Devil and I’m here to deceive you, muhahaha”, therefore, he knows he must come at a person INDIRECTLY. And books, music, TV, videogames, music, etc. is how he does it.

It reminds me of the following bible passage in Proverbs 16:25 which states: “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death”. In other words, Satan can take what’s WRONG and AGAINST God’s Word/God’s Will and make it “SEEM” right, in a man or woman’s eyes! Just look at today’s high rate of homosexuality! How do you think THAT one came about? Hint: Satan has deceived people into believing that “sodomy” = natural/God–approved “love”, when that can’t be FURTHER from the truth! 

Satan has also managed to deceive other groups of Christians out there with the “Christian rock” and “Christian metal” genres. All you have to do is just take ONE good look at these “Christian metal” or “Christian rock” bands and you can CLEARLY see they are anything BUT “Christian!” But that’s Satan’s goal…….he wants a Christian to sit back, relax, listen to what he/she THINKS is “Christian music”, only to later have his demonoids INFILTRATING that “Christian music” and seeping the spirit of rebellion into these people’s minds, hearts, bodies and spirits. And when that DOES happen, many of these people are caught unawares and they have NO IDEA what just happened.

So remember: what Satan LOVES (lust, greed, money, material things, sex, drugs, alcohol, books, movies, music, TV), Jesus Christ HATES! Luke 16:15 has this to say on the matter: “And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God“. So in other words, just think about how many young people today (ages 13-45) highly “esteem” things like Harry Potter/Witchcraft, metal/dubstep/trance music, World of Warcraft, “celebrity worship”, homosexuality/Gay Pride living, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, etc. Jesus Christ HATES those things and considers them an ABOMINATION!

Consequently, the reverse is ALSO true: what is considered PLEASING in Jesus Christ’s site, (humbleness, modest dress, no cussing/drinking/drugging/partying/sexing outside of marriage/gambling, repentance for/confession of sins, helping others less fortunate than you, preaching on street corners/in blogs/etc., staying faithful to your spouse through thick and thin, speaking out against the physical/mental/emotional/spiritual “evils” of the homosexual lifestyle etc.), is considered UNCOOL, and at best, “evil” in most people’s eyes, these days!

And how is that, exactly? How did we live to become SUCH a world today where evil is being called “good” and “good/righteous” is being called evil? Isaiah 5:20 had some VERY dire warnings about the subject!

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!“

In the time(s) of Jesus Christ and the 12 disciples:

• Bad: doing things that were not pleasing to God like stealing money, not honoring the Sabbath Day, cheating on one’s spouse, lying, wanting what belonged to others, bowing down to graven images, etc.
• Good: doing things that were pleasing in the site of God like giving money to the poor, honoring the Sabbath day, being loving and faithful to one’s spouse, being grateful for what one had, worshiping God and God alone, partaking of the Lord’s 7 Holy Feasts, etc.

In TODAY’S time (2014 & counting):

• Bad: believing in the bible and adhering TO the bible and to Jesus Christ Almighty and the “Christian religion” (and being anti-gay marriage, anti-abortion, anti-pre-marital sex, anti-Catholic church, anti-Pagan holiday celebrating, etc.)
• Good: doing all the things that the bible specifically CONDEMNS like being in a sexually active homosexual relationship, showing skin, masturbating, having sex before marriage or outside of marriage, excessively drinking/partying, cussing/saying Lord’s name in vain, following any other religion other than true, biblical-based Christianity

Back during the time of Isaiah, he, IN that passage of 5:20 (book of Isaiah, chapter 5, verse 20), was most likely referring to ancient Babylon and/or all the Pagan nations that didn’t serve God but also possibly referring to future generations as well. I think alot of prophets of God back then KNEW that there would always be “Pagan revivalists” out there who would attempt to stop at nothing to stamp out the practices/decrees of God’s people!

And the “Burning Man” festival is one big prime example of that! Honestly, what’s the difference between the practices of ancient Babylon and the events that take place at Burning Man? Can you find any? It seems that the “Burning Man figure”, in and of itself, has become a new type of FALSE GOD, out there in the Black Rock desert of Nevada! How sad! ;( What is this world coming to? ;(

And if you’re an initial skeptic like me, you might THINK that it won’t make much of a difference in your life if you DO get rid of all your books/music/movies/videogames/TV discs/magazines/posters that don’t glorify Jesus Christ or his gospel, but BELIEVE ME….it will make all the difference in the world! IT WILL SET YOUR SOUL **FREE** from the spiritual bondage you’ve been under, lately. And alot of people don’t even realize when they are or have been under spiritual bondage until the Lord or someone else in their life points it out to them.

Several years ago, I was going through a terrible, terrible time in life! I was SEVERELY depressed, I hardly felt like getting out of bed each day, I was a wayward Christian, I felt nothing but hate/jealousy/rage towards others around me, and I oftentimes sensed a “dark presence” hovering around me, everywhere I went, it seemed. I felt like Jesus Christ hated me at that point (or at the very, very least) was very, very disappointed in me, though I wasn’t totally sure WHY.

And then one day, Jesus revealed it all to me: my home was “inundated” with all sorts of “New Age/Wicca” materials………Harry Potter books (I admit this to my shame), Native American shamanism books/objects, movies like Practical Magic and the Craft, etc.

And the Lord said to me in that soft, still, spiritual voice: “LOOK at all those New Age materials you have around your home, NO WONDER the demonic spirits were so successful in attacking you, lately! And not only that, but instead of submitting yourself to these materials, you need instead to submit yourself to ME! Afterall, your New Age materials didn’t create you, now, did they? Nor can they give you Salvation or Everlasting Life, as those are gifts that only I, Jesus Christ Almighty, can give! Throw them out and throw them out, NOW, as your Eternal Salvation depends on it! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!”

And without further ado, I threw out all my New Age materials at that time, never to look back again! And I felt SO much better, as though I had been set free from the dark, spiritual “bondage” I had been under! 

But then came the case of most recently: YEARS after having had thrown away all my OLD New Age materials, I was starting ONCE AGAIN to feel exactly as I did YEARS AGO, when, for the SECOND time in my life, the Lord Jesus revealed to me things that (once again) were in my home that attracted “demon spirits”. This time, it was things that a normal person wouldn’t even SUSPECT can attract demon spirits!

Things such as books that talked about Jesus in an “intellectual manner”, instead of in a biblically-accurate manner (things like these attempt to “water down” the gospel and subtlety confuse the reader), Time Magazine editions with certain people on the entire cover page on the front (idol worship, pure and simple), a New King James bible (the NKJV), a wall clock that looked like Pagan sun rays (even something that “mimics” sun worship IS sun worship, in the Lord’s eyes), a childhood “doll” that I used to “talk to” as a kid, Christian scripture sweatshirts that had “hidden” Masonic symbols on them, etc.

And I have to admit: after getting rid of all those materials, I feel much, much better, now and pray that I never, EVER again amass any sort of materials in my life or home that aren’t pleasing to the Lord. And by writing this very post on the subject, I hope that someone can actually learn something from all of this and not make the same mistakes that I did. As true, biblical-based Christians, we must be VERY, VERY careful about the types of “objects” we let into our lives and our homes! I can’t emphasize this enough!

“Lord Jesus, I pray that if any one reading this post has things/objects in their lives that are displeasing to you and that take them away from you (spiritually and otherwise), that you would reveal to that person/those people what those things/objects are immediately and give them the strength to PURGE themselves of those things/objects forever and NEVER look back! And please give them the wisdom and spiritual discernment to know what is of your eternal truth and what is NOT of your eternal truth……about what things/people/objects truly represent you and your gospel/glory and what things/people/objects DO NOT truly represent you/your gospel and/or your glory. Please set them FREE from the spiritual bondage they’ve been under lately, save them in your great heavenly name and please bless them and keep them for all eternity. Amen”.

 

 

 

 

 

How To Overcome Addiction(s), 2014:

There’s many, many recovery programs out there today that proclaim to have all the answers when it comes to recovering from addiction(s), be it drugs, food, alcohol, sex/lust, pornography, etc. But the truth is, there’s only ONE surefire way to recover from addiction and that way is through Jesus Christ Almighty!

When Jesus Christ was crucified for mankind’s sins, the “sin” of addiction was one of those sins! And because Jesus Christ already overcome the powers of sin and death, he most certainly has the keys to overcoming addiction(s) in one’s life.

Usually, when people get addicted to something in the FIRST place, it’s because they are hurting inside and running from something or someone. They use their “addictions” as a means of “escape” from reality. But in truth, their “addictions” only manage to make their problems WORSE and they become worst off than they were before, to begin with.

Many of them, once they realize the true weight of things and how THEIR “addictions” affects those around them, try to quit. And maybe they are able to go a day or two without their addiction(s), which is great. But sooner or later, the temptation of the addiction becomes overpowering and they’re usually right back at it, again. Only to later once again, want to quit and then back to the addiction again, and the process continues, over and over again. And after awhile, they begin to feel helpless, as though they will NEVER change!

But it’s not just a psychological and emotional dependence on the addiction(s), there is also a physical component as well. When the human body is flooded with endorphins and/or serotonin/dopamine during the “activity” of the addiction, the human body gets addicted and tries to achieve that same “high” over and over again. However, when the human body is “denied” the activity of the addiction that it’s so used to, there is a decreased level of endorphins and/or serotonin/dopamine and a person can then oftentimes start to feel really ill and have severe withdrawal symptoms or the very least, feel extremely depressed, crabby or agitated.

And not only that but it’s also a SPIRITUAL addiction, as well. Cause like it or not, demon spirits are CONSTANTLY trying to convince the human race to do wrong things (especially to themselves) and addictions are one of those things. So many people that have addiction(s) don’t even know or recognize that they’re being SEVERE demonically oppressed by Satan’s demons, to begin with. And lets face it, Satan’s demons find these poor folks to be “easy pickins”. Because they’re ALREADY broken in spirit, to begin with.

So now, Satan’s demons feel as though these poor folks are easy targets and usually have no problems convincing them that sex/drugs/alcohol/over-eating/pornography is the easy way out from their “pain” and “turmoil” in life. And then, when these poor folks DO give in to the temptations of addiction(s), Satan and his demons CAPITALIZE on the fear, guilt and SHAME a person feels over their addiction. Which then usually makes the person partake of their addiction(s) EVEN MORE, to try to get rid of the feelings of fear, guilt and SHAME they feel over their addiction and the battle rages on and on.

But what people need to realize is that addiction is NOT just a physical, emotional or psychological battle, it is a SPIRITUAL BATTLE, a battle for their body, heart, soul and MIND! But the easiest way to get through addiction (specifically, drug and alcohol abuse) is to FORCE ONESELF to suffer through the withdrawals. Because eventually, the body will recover and stabilize and go back to normal again.

But yet, that’s a hard thing for people to do, isn’t it? Cause Satan’s ever-so-good at convincing these poor folks that they’re DYING and that they’re gonna die UNLESS they partake of the addictive sin again and put that addictive sin agent in their bodies again. Plus there’s also the psychological component as well. Even if one’s body truly doesn’t NEED the addiction agent, their mind tries to convince them they DO.

And when it comes to sex, pornography and over-eating, Satan is ever-so-good at convincing people that their lives won’t be “complete” WITHOUT these things and most people are too blind to see. 

However, Matthew 19:26 states: “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible“.

So in other words, it is PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY,  PSYCHOLOGICALLY and ***SPIRITUALLY IMPOSSIBLE*** for a person to PERMANENTLY beat addiction(s) on their own, on their own free will. However, WITH the help of the Lord Jesus Christ, permanently overcoming one’s addiction(s) is not only POSSIBLE, it can become a person’s REALITY! 😉

Many drug or alcohol addicted people say that nobody understands their addiction unless another person themselves has experienced that addiction. But the truth is, Jesus Christ understands their addiction. God created all things, all people, atom to atom, cell to cell. He knows the human body, inside and out, all its various complex specifications. He even knows all the stars (and likely every individual cell by NAME!) He created the universe and the heavens! Therefore, if he created the universe and the heavens, wouldn’t it also stand to reason that IN his name, all things are possible, especially helping people overcome their addictions?

But don’t get me wrong, here. An addicted person probably isn’t going to be healed and cured of their addiction overnight. It’s a process. First, they have to recognize they have a problem. Then, they have to truly desire to get help for that problem. Then, they have to DILIGENTLY pray to Jesus Christ to overcome the problem. And then, they must TRUST Jesus Christ to help them overcome their problem, and then sit back and watch the wonderful miracle that the Lord is preparing in their lives in overcoming their addiction. Keeping a journal is also good since it helps them document their day to day progress. And it’s probably not an EASY road to recover from sex/drugs/alcohol/etc, but with the help of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is a POSSIBLE road.

Pray to Jesus Christ, TODAY! Lay all your hopes, dreams, worries and fears at his feet. LET him be your new hope in life! LET him heal you. LET him help you in overcoming your addictions. But you’ve got to give it your all. Jesus Christ is not going to help a person who half-heartedly prays to him to overcome addiction. However, the Lord Jesus WILL answer a person who’s on their knees, giving it ALL to him in prayer, and trusting him to change their lives! 🙂 Jesus Christ can HEAL you! Jesus Christ can help you OVERCOME your addictions! Jesus Christ can help you RULE OVER your addictions, instead of your addictions ruling over YOU! Cry out to Jesus Christ in FERVENT prayer, TODAY! He WILL answer you, MARK MY WORDS!!!!

“Lord Jesus, if there’s anyone out there suffering from addiction(s) today, I pray that they see this very post and know that you care about them and desperately want to heal them and help them overcome their addiction(s) FOR GOOD. Please help them to TRUST YOU and HAVE FAITH in you. Please help them to trust you to change them for good and to help them overcome those “things/addictions” that are plaguing their mind/heart/body/spirit, COMPLETELY. Please cleanse them and give them a brand new life in you! Thank-you Lord Jesus. Amen”.
